As someone who appreciates the work done by the Rhode Island Tea Party, I was glad to hear that a local version has been created for residents of Providence and East Providence.  If you would be interested in joining, please come to our first meeting on Thursday June 17th at the Santa Maria Cultural Center at 846 Broadway, East Providence, RI.  The meeting will begin at 7pm, and you are encouraged to bring friends.  For more information, check out the new group's Facebook page and the meeting's event page .
