We'll Have to Wait Even Longer to See Providence's 2010 Budget

There has been a change of plans.  Rather than wait until Thursday to see Providence's proposed budget, David Cicilline has decided to wait until the end of the General Assembly session, which usually ends in late to mid June.  Although, it could be later due to the nature of this year's budget.  I could be wrong, but I'm expecting a large property tax increase, and possibly fees for trash collection and taxes on college students.  I would also expect the budget to be filled with "savings" which require approval by the General Assembly, but which may not materialize.  That could be the reason for the delay.  Trying to buy time to fill the holes that will pop up.
