White House Photo Op Cost $329,000, Created Hysteria, and Could Have Put People in Danger

Not only was the White House aware of the fear and anxiety their photo-op would cause, but the government paid $329,000 to scare New Yorkers.  Louis Caldera, who is the Director of the White House Military Office, has taken responsibility for the decision and has apologized.  That's great, now he should be fired.

The anxiety the flights caused, along with the costs are bad, but what about other dangers?  The three planes flew as low as 1,000 feet.  When you think about all the skyscrapers in New York, along with their height, you realize that the planes weren't very far from them.  I would also think that the low altitude would provide pilots with less time to react if there was an emergency.  Louis Caldera needs to go, and Barack Obama and his staff need to keep a closer eye on the expenditures and activities in the White House.
