Isn't Barack Obama great?  He has found yet another way to save us from  ourselves!  On "Meet the Press,"  Larry Summers said the Obama administration is directing its attention to credit cards:

"We need to do things to stop the marketing of credit in ways that addicts people to it," Summers said.

Summers told moderator David Gregory that Obama is concerned about “the way people have been deceived into paying extraordinarily high rates that they wouldn't have paid if they knew what they were getting themselves into.”

     I know it isn't popular to take the side of large companies,  but how do they deceive people?  When I receive credit card offers, they come with letters.  If you read the letter, then flip it over to look at the terms on the back, you'll have all the information you need to make an informed decision.  Sure, lots of people don't read the fine print, but is that the bank's fault?  Are there any circumstances when Democrats feel people should take responsibility for their own actions?
