Barack Obama Gets Rave Reviews From Leaders All Over the World

Barack Obama's recent trip to Europe and the Middle East has been an important news story.  Even though Barack Obama has only been in office for 3 months, he has received rave reviews from many leaders.  While they didn't heap unqualified praise on President Obama, it is rather obvious that they see potential for better relations.  In a way, maybe they see themselves as kindred spirits.  Just take a look at these comments:

"How can we help President Obama?"  - Fidel Castro

"This man does not lack sincerity in what he is saying about Islam," Fadlallah told Reuters in an interview at his Beirut office. Former U.S. President George W. Bush had used similar language but his "mentality was not open" to Islam, he added.  - Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah

"Nothing is impossible. Who would have thought in the 1980s that the Soviet Union would disappear? No one," - Hugo Chavez commenting on the possibility of the Untited Staes switching to socialism.

Barack Obama is a "flicker of hope in the middle of the imperialist darkness," - Muammar Gaddafi

There you go.  Who can argue with Castro, Fadlallah, Chavez, and Gaddafi?  I don't know about you, but I'm glad to see that people of their ilk are happy with our choice of President.
