Here's some news that is anything but shocking: Lincoln Chafee has established an exploratory committee to measure interest in a potential gubernatorial campaign in 2010.  This isn't surprising news, especially since Steve Laffey has decided not to run, and the presence of a crowded field of Democrats ready to spend millions of dollars criticizing each other before the primary.  Unfortunately, it looks like Lincoln Chafee has an excellent chance.
