Bill Ayers Discusses Barack Obama on Good Morning America
Bill Ayers was interviewed on Good Morning America today and said he feels unfairly "demonized" by the Republicans. I don't know why Republicans think Bill Ayers is such a bad guy. All he did was bomb the Pentagon, the Capitol, the New York City Police Department, and say "I don't think we did enough." After all, what's a little terrorism?
When you look at Bill Ayers past actions, his beliefs, and his lack of remorse, it's hard to have anything but negative feelings about him. Then we have Barack Obama serving on boards with him, benefiting from a fundraiser in Ayer's home, and writing a blurb for his book. To me, it seems that Obama is sympathetic to Ayers and people who share his antigovernment beliefs.
This may not seem like much in isolation, but then consider his long-time friendship with Jeremiah Wright, his socialist leanings, and his quote from "Dreams From My Father" about seeking out "Marxist professors" while in college, and a pattern certainly begins to develop. If you don't see it, you must be trying hard to ignore it.
