Is Barack Obama Considering Hillary Clinton as the Next Secretary of State?
NBC is reporting that senator Hillary Clinton is being considered for Secretary of State. Other candidates include John Kerry, Chuck Hagel, Sam Nunn, and Bill Richardson. I had heard the other names mentioned, but this is the first serious mention I've heard of Hillary Clinton. It seems like an odd choice. I'm not sure why Hillary Clinton would want to leave the Senate, and for the life of me, I don't know why Barack Obama would want to work with her. I think the most likely choice is Sam Nunn, with Chuck Hagel a close second.
