The London Times has reported that Barack Obama's aunt, Zeituni Onyango, 56, has been living in a Boston housing project for the past 5 years.  The Obama campaign confirms that Zeituni Onyango is Obama's aunt.  Ms. Onyango was also mentioned in Barack Obama's book, "Dreams From My Father".  The story also had a quote that seemed odd to me:

In an interview outside her rundown apartment building on Flaherty Way, Onyango told The Times of London that she didn’t want to say much before the Nov. 4 election.

“I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”

     She can't talk about it, but after the election she can talk to anyone?  Are we to assume that someone asked her not to speak?  Is there something to hide?  I was surprised when I read this report.  Barack Obama is a millionaire, yet his aunt is living in a housing project.  On top of that, Barack Obama's youngest brother George Obama was found living in a 6 foot by 9 foot hut near Nairobi, and he is currently living on $1 per month. 

     If you've listened to any of Barack Obama's speeches, this should concern you.  Obama is fond of saying, "I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper", yet his real brother is living in poverty and his aunt's life seems to be far from comfortable.  As Barack Obama has said before, he wants to spread the wealth around.  He wants people who work hard to be taxed more, so their money can be taken away and given to those who the government deems deserving.  Before Barack Obama spreads our wealth around, he should consider spreading some of his own wealth around to help his family.  Is is too much to ask a Presidentail nominee to put his money where his mouth is?
