John McCain Needs to Focus on the Economy, Balance, and Obama's Redistibution of Wealth

Right now, it looks like the Democrats will almost defintely pick up seats in the House of Representatives, and probably pick up seats in the U.S. Senate.  There is also a small chance the Democrats can reach 60 seats, which would further erode Republican power.  These developments make it all the more important for John McCain to win the election on November 4th.  Without a McCain victory, you will see the country run by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid, with a supporting cast of Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank.  Are you scared yet?

Fortunately, John McCain is finally beginning to make this point.  I have no doubt we will see the country change dramatically, and for the worse, if the Presidency and both the House and Senate are controlled by Democrats.  We will see taxes rise, we will see spending increases, we will see the redistribution of wealth on an unprecedented scale, and we will see the United States operate in a manner that would make Karl Marx proud.

This is an important moment for the country and John McCain's campaign.  Over the next week, he must focus on the economy and the dangers of having Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama running the country together.  He must make the argument for countering the power of a Democratic legislature with a Republican President.  In the end, those are the two topics that will make or break the McCain campaign.
