I found the link below on anther blog.  It is a link to the tax cut section of Barack Obama's web site.  I'm not voting for Barack Obama, but I was curious, so I gave it a try.  Well, I saw some great numbers.  According to this calculator, I will save $0 under John McCain's tax plan, but $1,300 with Obama's plan.  I also discovered that I may be eligible for a $4,000 credit to help pay for college expenses and a 50% tax credit on up to $1,000 in retirement savings.  If I were interested in selling my vote, Obama's plan seems better (at least according to his calculator), but I'm not.

     It's natural to vote for a candidate who shares your views and who you feel will enhance your life.  Although, this must be balanced with considering the greater good.  Even though I would probably save more money with an Obama Presidency, my vote cannot be bought.  I truly believe John McCain would be better for the country, and that is who will receive my vote.
