Zogby Poll: McCain is Moving Up and Obama is Falling
According to Zogby, Barack Obama has led John McCain by as much as 6.2%, while other polls have put his leads at 8%. In the newest Zogby poll, John McCain appears to be gaining support, while Barack Obama is losing his. Obama currently leads McCain 47.8% to 45.1%, a lead of just 2.7%, which is in the poll's 2.9% margin of error. This follows a Gallup poll of traditional voters which also found that Obama's lead has shrunk to just 2%.
As long as the McCain campaign doesn't make any serious mistakes, I feel this positive trend will continue. If it does, McCain will likely continue to gain support heading into November 4th. I'm also expecting an election that is as close as the 2000 election between George Bush and Al Gore. Hopefully, this election will lack the controversy.
