AIG: When Does it Stop?

I didn't like the idea of the federal bailout, and I didn't like the $85 billion dollars the U.S. government loaned to AIG.  Now, after finding out that AIG spent $440,000 sending employees to a fancy California resort, we find out that AIG needs even more money!  That's right, they've used about $54 million dollars of the original $85 million disbursement, and they requested another $37.8 million.

By bailing these companies out on a case by case basis, followed by a larger bailout, the government is setting a dangerous precedent.  Are companies going to keep coming back to us for more?   Will the government provide more help?  If so, when will it stop?  If this situation has you concerned, I don't blame you.  You need to relax.  Maybe you can get a job with AIG and go to a fancy resort for the week on the taxpayers.  It's the least we can do.
