Oh No! Do I Really Agree With Michael Moore? No, Not Really

Please read the post from film director Michael Moore. If you're anything like me, and you oppose the bailout, you will be shocked to find out that he agrees with us. I was actually frightened for a minute, but fortunately, I read on and realized that he's still out there. The funniest part was when he blamed the current financial crisis on our lack of universal healthcare. That's right. According to Michael Moore, if Americans had universal healthcare, they wouldn't have lost their homes and the financial crisis wouldn't have happened. I'm serious, I couldn't make this stuff up!
The most amazing part is how he blames the whole thing on the Bush Administration. Sure, they proposed the bailout, but didn't they have a lot of help from the Democrats? If I'm not mistaken, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Representative Barney Frank were two of the leading proponents for this legislation. They're both liberal Democrats, and no one would accuse them of being puppets for George Bush. One more thing: Let's not forget that more Democrats voted for the legislation than Republicans. If this really is a gift for the wealthy, then which party is the one passing out presents?
